Joe Scerri and his crew did a magnificent job on replacing a wood floor in a bedroom in my condo in NYC Upper East side damaged by a faulty steam pipe. The work was tidy, prompt and Joe was always on hand, responsive and available. Extremely pleased with the outcome.
Joe and his team did our floors twice in the past 2 years. Once when we originally moved in and a year later after a flood. Their work is beautiful. I never thought I would pay so much attention to floors, but they are stunning. And they are careful, responsive and honest. They're the best!

All our floors had deteriorated over 7 years. This meant pulling everything up and starting over. Talk about the "wow" factor. Besides the professionalism and courtesy Joe extends, we received a truly artistic and craftsman result. The inlaid work is magnificent. The finishing job is above and beyond a "movie star" job, (I am just an average guy living in the city). Joe's work stops people in their tracks when they enter my apartment. I actually feel like I'm part of the "rich and famous" set thanks to Joe. If you can get Joe, without hesitation, get on his calendar. We had to wait a short bit because he is so much in demand, but I will never work with anyone else. Truly "old school" perfection in his results. You will be very happy.
I used to share the traditional notion that it is all about location, location, location. But now I think it's -- floors, floors, floors. I bought a coop with uninteresting oak floors, and I wanted to stain them white in order to maximize the light. What I got from Joe was better than I could ever have imagined. They are not just light, with an overall appearance of white, but they have light blue and brown undertones that make them look incredibly warm. I walk into my apartment after a long day of work and wake up in the morning and see my floors and I just feel happy; this is the way "home" should feel.

Before I ever set foot in the store, I was greeted with a smile and a handshake by Lucy who is the store manager. Not knowing anything about hardwood flooring this was immediately comforting and reassuring. She took the time informing me of everything I needed to know about hardwood floors, then matching me with the right flooring for my budget and type of apartment. She educated me before I bought my hardwood flooring, and helped me realize why certain woods were better than others. I could have not dreamed of a better experience.
